We will spend a wonderful day in the vicinity of Lake Balaton,
in nature
We will harvest lavender in a private field (with amazing photos
as well ;)), visit Hungarian csarda (we will try some wines of
course), and take a private boat trip. And all this in one day
Not far from Siofok there’s a lovely lavender farm. They are
waiting for us. There we’ll collect lavender, take pictures,
enjoy the aromas, nature, countryside...
Friendly hosts provide their products: various souvenirs,
cosmetics and even strawberry jam with dark chocolate and
lavender!
There is also a dairy farm where English Jersey cows are being
bred. This is one of the fattest breeds. So we’ll be offered
yumy cheese. You can buy yogurts and chees, whatever you
like, and take them home. We will also see deer and fawns!
Then we are heading to the Rádpuszta! We’ll have a great
lunch here!
Rádpuszta is an unforgettable experience, the Hungarian
countryside atmosphere, big stylish csarda, and excellent
cuisine with traditional Hungarian dishes. Also a well-groomed
stable with graceful Lipizzan horses, a 180-year-old wine cellar
with the best examples of 22 Hungarian wine and 8 palinka
regions.
We are pretty sure you’d like to taste
There are lots of animals on the farm: goat, sheep, ram of
various breeds, both Hungarian and foreign breeds, donkey,
pretty alpacas and llamas, kangaroos and the king of the desert
camel...
After a hearty lunch, we are heading to Lake Balaton (the
Hungarian sea), where a pirate ship awaits us! ⚓⛵ 1 hour of pure
joy on the vastness and unique beauty of Lake Balaton!⛵
And finally, happy and satisfied, we are heading home.
